5) 9/11 Memorial, Mount Olive, NJ

9/11 Memorial Granite Monument, Mount Olive, NJ

On September 11, 13 years after the9/11 Attacks, about 75 people turned out for the official dedication of the new 9/11 memorial located at the entrance to the park and across from the All Veterans Memorial Park. The Township Councilman Ray Perkins, a Vietnam veteran who was actually in New York City during the 9/11 Attacks, made this project come to life. The centerpiece of the 9/11 memorial is a 6′ x 4′ x 8″ thick piece of polished black granite laser etched by Picture This On Granite with images from the terrorist targets, including the Pentagon, Twin Towers and the field in Shanksville, Pa.

4) Trees of Honor Memorial Park, Middletown, CT

Located in Veterans Memorial Park in Middletown, CT the Memorial is composed of two unique sculptures and a ring of 65 trees with sitting areas. Each tree is uniquely dedicated to each of our Fallen Heroes with Picture This On Granite certified grey Granite Slants measuring 36 inches high with a black granite plaque adhered to the facade,engraved by Picture This On Granite with a photo. A reflective place to be sure but a place that is also meant to be alive with honor.

3) Hamilton Veterans Memorial Park, Jasper, FL

For this Memorial project located in Jasper, FL, the Picture This On Granite team worked in close collaboration with Clay Lambert, the Chairman of the Hamilton County Veterans Memorial Park Foundation. The mandate was to design, build and install a Veterans Memorial that would represent the exact vision of the committee and would create a unique gathering area for all to remember their fallen heroes.

2) Veterans Memorial, Cloquet, MN

It’s been more than seven years of hard work, perseverance and numerous changes as the Farmington Area Veterans Memorial Committee made a memorial worthy of those who have given so much to keep the United States safe. The idea was first championed by World War II veteran Howard Miller, but Leon Orr, now chairperson of the committee, has been the driving force behind the memorial for the last several years. He said a veterans memorial has been talked about since as far back as the 1940s, but the dedication ceremony finally took place in summer 2014.

1) WWII Honor Roll Memorial, Freehold, NJ

Laser etched in the 7-foot-tall granite slab are 1,385 names of men and women who, from 1941 to 1945, went to war — people who came back, and people who didn’t. The other side is laser etched with the famous photographic image of Marines raising the U.S. flag on the island of Iwo Jima. The granite memorial was set in place Thursday on VJ Day — the 1945 shorthand for Victory over Japan — when the Asian power finally surrendered days after the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
