From Concept to Reality

The Global War on Terror Monument was unveiled on the Vineland Veterans Memorial Home Memory Walkway on Sept. 26. 2019.  Designed by team at PG and donated by Lawrence Babenko and Alek Lape, students at Saint Augustine Preparatory School located in Richland. These two students made the monument their Senior Caritas Project. Caritas, or ‘Service’, is one of the three pillars of the St. Augustine experience. The GWOT monument lists the names of New Jersey’s men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our nation from terror.  Courtesy – New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
