This two-sided memorial honors the ultimate sacrifices of 2 of Hillsborough’s own, LIETENANT BALDOMERO LOPEZ, UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS and SERGEANT FIRST CLASS PAUL R. SMITH UNITED STATES ARMY

These Heroes were awarded the MOH posthumously, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their own lives, above and beyond the call of duty
