1/2 foot by 10 1/2 foot PGHD© Laser Etched Portrait
From Concept to Reality
Ten months after his death, the Pat Burns Arena was officially opened last year in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, honoring this legendary hockey coach.
PG was also responsible for all of the directional signage on the interiors and exterior of the building.
Multiple sizes of PG Certified® Black Granite panel
The 8 million dollar, 40,000 sq/ft state of the art arena seats more than 350 spectators and will also serve as an important community gathering place.
Searching for a unique method to honor the legend who inspired this project, the facility features a 5 1/2 foot by 10 1/2 foot PGHD© laser etched portrait of Pat Burns on PGCertified© black granite panels. The granite canvas was created using custom sized granite panels that were seamlessly installed onto the buildings entry.
Additionally, indoor directional signage was designed and modified by us to suit the design of the Arena. The Arena then sold sponsorship of the different meeting rooms. In order to help in further funding of this project, a seating chart of sponsors was created to showcase a beautiful layout of the different levels of sponsorship available.

What our clients had to say
« Picture This on Granite was our partner in all of the signage for the Pat Burns Arena…In conducting our search for the appropriate supplier, we found PTOG to meet our standards of quality, excellence in design, creativity, responsiveness and good service. Their pricing reflected the quality and yet remained fair. They met our needs in terms of response time and were flexible to changes and last-minute requests.
From the earliest meeting, where we were presented a concept package, which they generated with minimal guidance, to the finished product, we have been very satisfied with their product and our working relationship…
As Campaign Manager, I would be pleased to recommend Bonnie Goodsell and her PTOG team for a project in your area. »
